ABC news broke the story yesterday that the co-director of 'Restrepo' was killed in Libya. The war photographer was caught in the middle of a violent confrontation between the rebels and Muammar Qaddafi's soldiers.His last tweet was "In besieged Libyan city of Misrato. Indiscriminate shelling by Qaddafi forces. No sign of NATO."
Earlier this year 'Restrepo', a documentary about soldiers living in one of the most dangerous area in Afghanistan, was nominated for an Oscar for best documentary.
